Thoughts can be like flowers or like weeds. While beautiful tender flowers need care, weeds grow without any help. And if you leave your garden on its own, weeds will surely take over. Lately, I have been tending to my garden by paying special attention to my thoughts. The flower garden in my head is starting to bloom and slowly the weeds are being yanked out. I have been pondering on these bible verses this morning:
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9
Here is something lovely for you to see. One of the two triangle quilts I just finished. I have promised a few people I would post a tutorial for this. I still have some Meadow fabric left to make one more of these triangle quilts (for the third baby girl) and I will use that for some step-by-step instructions. I will get working on it as soon as I finish a few projects I am already working on.
